My Salad arrived with two flies in it. I sent it back of course, but they still tried to charge me for it. What got me was that they didnt seem to think there was anything too serious about the flies and that I should have just accepted another meal. To sum up, they sold me a meal with FLIES in it and then argued the toss about giving me a refund.

My family and I have eaten there about four times now - no flies, that we found anyway. It's a very family oriented and run restaurant with about four generations running it. It is some of the best and most authentic Italian food outside Italy and yes I have spent a lot of time in Italy, all parts. The prices are very good, I'm always surprised at how little it is for the quality and quantity. The restaurant itself is a bit tired and dated but it just adds to charm. Enjoy

Very nice seafood I had in England, the ice cream is so amazing! and the environment of this restaurant is so authentic!! Definitely I'll be there very soon with my family.

Dont know about the food but they advertise Home Made Ice Cream, but I cannot see where it is any better than the usual dross. I am saddened for what passes as homemade these days.

Loved the food, the staff couldn't be more welcoming, great atmosphere and a terrific menu to choose from. Good value and fun. We only found Marroco's by accident and are now regulars.

An absolutely perfect experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was great. The waiter gave us a free glass of lemoncello after dinner and was very friendly. The main dish (I had monkfish wrapped in parma ham served on lentils) was fantastic and the mixed grill that my boyfriend had was generous (two pieces of lamb, steak, chicken and two gorgeous sausages). The dessert was also very good and the cocktails were tasty. So refreshing to find a faultless dining experience.

I eat here often with my 2 year old daughter. Excellent pasta and the best ice cream in Brighton. The place is very family friendly and we have a great time enjoying the food and the atmosphere. One of those kind of places where I feel like I should give credit where its due and put in a good word - but at the same time part of me wants to keep quiet and enjoy being able to show up and get a table without a wait.

Lovely food, wine and comany. Couldn't fault anything. Unfortunately I knocked a ladies glass of wine off the table with my handbag, whoops, and the waiter was exceedingly attentive to the situation !

very unhelpful staff with poor quality food.............I hear the only good food here is the ice cream and coffee and they certainly live up to that on my visit - not worth the money - better places in Brighton......
